Maria has a diploma in social work from Lääne-Viru College (currently named TTK University of Applied Sciences Institute of Service Economy). Her previous work experience is mainly from customer service.

She has lived for her entire life at many small places located at Lääne-Virumaa. She values the peace and quiet that living away from the city offers. She would even like to live deep in the woods if she could. Maria does not have a lot of time for hobbies but she does like to relieve stress by listening to music and taking a good night sleep.
